4:30 - 5:30 p.m. is the recommended time for preschoolers

Includes:  Haunted house, Not-So-Scary Haunted House, Magic Show, Games for big kids and little kids, Thriller Dance, Fear Factor Room, Preschool Arts & Crafts and of course, fun, candy and prizes for all! This is a family event. Children under 13 should be accompanied by a parent.

The 31st Annual 10,000 Meter Sycamore Pumpkin Festival Road Race, USATF sanctioned and CARA (Chicago Area Runner's Association) Circuit Race, will be held Sunday, October 25, 2009 starting at 9:35 a.m. at the park just East of the National Guard Armory on Route 64 in Sycamore.

Register online via link above or contact the chamber at 815-895-3456 or 407 W. State Street Suite 10, Sycamore, Illinois.  Participants receive a long sleeve race shirt and refreshments following the race. Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers, each of the first three finishers in thirteen age divisions, and the first Sycamore male and female finishers.

Chipped timing by River City Race Management with computerized finish results provided to all runners immediately following the race.

This is a 6.2 mile USATF certified course. The starting line is on East State Street at Kishwaukee Drive and runs west to Somonauk Street, south to Bethany Road, north on Airport Road to Sycamore Park where it ends near the west park entrance.
