The joint replacement program at Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb uses the best evidence-based practices, from pre-op education to surgery and post-operative care. Over 90% of our patients are discharged home within 2-3 days of surgery, without the need for an inpatient rehabilitation stay at a nursing home.
Kishwaukee Hospital’s joint replacement program has a growing reputation in Northern Illinois and the Chicago area. Patients have come from Chicago, Mendota, Rochelle, Rockford, Romeoville, Sterling, and Yorkville.
