New Baby Care
A class for first time parents, grandparents and other caregivers to learn the basics of newborn care. Bathing, diapering, feeding, crying and sleeping are just a few of the topics we will explore.
Infant Safety & CPR
Learn about infant safety including childproofing, poison prevention, and SIDS. A certified American Heart Association Instructor will teach CPR and choking rescue for infants less than 1 year of age. This is not a certification course.
Sibling Class
Bring siblings and tour the KCH Maternity Suites. Children should be at least two years old to benefit from the class.
Breastfeeding Class
Learn the benefits of breastfeeding for mom and baby, getting started,
preventing common problems and how to pump
and store breast milk. Dad/suppport person
is welcome to attend. The KCH Maternity
Suites also has Medela breast pump rentals
and other products for nursing mothers.
