Security

You will have peace of mind knowing that your infant is safe at Kishwaukee Community Hospital. In addition to your baby rooming in with you, he or she will have a computerized tag for identification and location purposes. Our unit locks down and has alarmed doors and a hospital-wide trained staff.

Every baby is required to be in a car seat when in a car. Resources are available through DeKalb County Safe Kids to instruct parents on child passenger safety and to help parents in financial need acquire a car seat.
