Unlimited performance physical therapists attend seminar
May 17, 2011Recently, physical therapists Sheree Pinto, PT-CLT, Kathy Balster, PT, and Director of Rehabilitation Services, Cindy Tucker, PT, from Unlimited Performance Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine, Sycamore, attended a continuing education seminar in Schaumburg, entitled “Effective Evaluation, Assessment, and Treatment of Pediatric Toe Walking,” presented by Liesa Persaud, PT, MPT, PCS.
The course was beneficial to its participants because it provided them with evidence-based strategies for the effective evaluation, assessment, and treatment of pediatric toe walking. Through a systematic evaluation procedure, specific data is used to direct the clinician to potential etiologies and the appropriate treatment plan for this abnormal gait pattern.
