“New Approaches to the Treatment of Venous Disorders”

1) Discuss the physiologic and psychological significance of vein disorders.  

2) Discuss the importance of venous duplex ultrasound in diagnosing venous disease. 

3) Recognize and diagnose venous disease with an appreciation of distal symptoms that may mimic other conditions.

4) Identify both historical and modern treatment options for vein disorders and be able to prioritize these treatments according to the needs of patients.
